PROTECT YOURSELF AND YOUR OPERATION FROM THE UNLAWFUL DUMPING OF ADULTERATED SEED!

Did you know that the adulteration of human and animal food, including the co-mingling of adulterated or treated seed in grain loads could be punishable by up to three years of imprisonment, a $10,000 fine, or both?

According to the FDA and USDA, it is unlawful to mix treated seats with untreated seeds (i.e. soybeans, corn, wheat, etc.) that will be used for human or animal consumption.  If treated seeds are mixed with untreated seeds/grain it is considered adulteration and no longer suitable for human or animal consumption.

The Nebraska Grain and Feed Association (NGF) has available laminated posters warning producers or other grain handlers of the consequences associated with intentionally or unintentionally dumping treated seed at grain elevators or grain processing plants.  These posters should be displayed at every grain dump at your facility.  Please see the below link for a sample of the laminated poster and an NGF order form for this and other grain quality related posters.  Protect yourself and protect your customers, order your posters today!
